Marketing Assistant with Graphic Design Focus

Role Overview:
The client is a growing Australian business in the children’s play and development space and is looking for a part-time marketing professional with a strong graphic design focus. This role supports digital content creation and visual storytelling for a brand centered on quality play, learning, and family connection. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on creative work and can consistently produce warm, engaging visuals that resonate with parents, educators, and families.

Work Arrangement:

Part time
Consistent engagement with the intention of a long-term partnership
Start as soon as a suitable candidate is identified

Key Responsibilities:

Create graphic assets for social media, digital marketing, and online campaigns
Design content that highlights children’s play products and learning-focused experiences
Translate brand values into clean, engaging visuals that appeal to families and caregivers
Collaborate closely with the founder to refine creative direction and messaging
Apply feedback and revisions efficiently while maintaining visual consistency
Support ongoing marketing activities related to content publishing

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong background in graphic design with practical marketing experience
Experience creating social media graphics and digital content
Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools
Solid understanding of branding, layout, typography, and visual storytelling
Ability to work independently within a small business environment
Comfortable managing a light but consistent daily workload

Nice to Have:

Experience with family-focused, education, or e-commerce brands
Basic understanding of social media trends and engagement
Familiarity with short-form content or simple motion graphics
