Python/React Full Stack Developer

About the Role

As a Fullstack Developer, you will work directly on building and improving Zara, the company’s AI-powered recruiting agent.

This is a true end-to-end engineering role. You won’t be boxed into one layer of the stack. Instead, you’ll contribute across:

Frontend interfaces
Backend APIs
Data operations
Performance optimisation
AI-assisted workflows
Scalability and reliability improvements

Your key responsibilities will include:

Contributing to the development of scalable, high-performance backend APIs using Python and FastAPI
Building and refining frontend interfaces using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
Supporting the integration of LLMs and AI agents into the platform, including:
- Feedback systems
- AI-assisted workflows
- Intelligent automation features
Helping implement concurrency patterns and backend optimisations to improve performance
Writing and optimising SQL queries
Contributing to data modelling for dependable and efficient data operations

Required Skills & Experience

Candidates should have:

Experience building frontend applications with React
Experience with Next.js and TypeScript is a strong advantage
Experience building backend services with Python
Familiarity with FastAPI or similar Python backend frameworks is preferred
Strong Python fundamentals, including exposure to:
- Asynchronous programming
- Performance optimisation
Working knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write, debug, and improve queries
Strong frontend fundamentals and the ability to create clean, maintainable UI systems
Familiarity with styling systems such as Tailwind CSS or similar tools
Understanding of APIs and service-oriented architectures
Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS (or equivalent platforms)
Strong problem-solving ability, clear communication, and a collaborative working style
An ownership mindset, curiosity, and the willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced setting
