Senior Software Engineer – Remote (Web3/Frontend/SDK)

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help improve and maintain innovative DApps within the NEAR ecosystem.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoys building products from the ground up, and wants to be involved at the early stages of impactful projects.

The position focuses on building a blazing-fast frontend and a powerful SDK for a cross-chain DEX that leverages:

Multi-party computation (MPC)
Chain signatures
Secure enclaves
Intent-based architecture

Our mission is to bridge the gap between EVM and non-EVM chains, so a strong understanding of Web3 technologies is essential.

You’ll work closely with the Protocol team, designers, QA engineers, and external partners to deliver exceptional user and developer experiences. This role requires someone who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation, shaping both how the application works and how it feels.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

Build and maintain high-performance DApps in the NEAR ecosystem
Develop a blazing-fast frontend for a cross-chain decentralized exchange
Create and improve an SDK for other DApps to integrate and use
Ensure complex financial instruments are easy to understand and intuitive to use
Optimize every millisecond of user interactions and frontend performance
Implement deep tracing and observability for user flows and application behavior
Design, test, and implement resilient state machines for managing RFQs (Requests for Quotes)
Collaborate with protocol engineers, designers, QA, and partners across multiple time zones
Contribute to both technical architecture and product experience

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a proven track record of shipping products
Strong expertise in frontend development and modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems
A strong eye for design, UI/UX, and user interaction
The ability to build for multiple target form factors, including:
- Mobile
- Tablet
- Desktop
Experience building functional, scalable, and effective platforms
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to writing clean, organized, and maintainable code
Excellent collaboration skills, especially in distributed teams across multiple time zones
Familiarity with cryptocurrency, blockchain, and Web3 technologies
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
