About the Role
Alignerr is looking for a talented JavaScript Developer to join the team on a remote hourly contract basis.
In this role, you will help support AI model training by reviewing and evaluating AI-generated JavaScript code, building high-quality solutions, identifying edge cases, and creating clear explanations of coding logic and problem-solving approaches.
Training support will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for developers who want to apply their technical skills in the growing field of AI model evaluation and training.
Key Responsibilities
As a JavaScript Developer, you will:
- Review and evaluate AI-generated JavaScript code for:
- Efficiency
- Accuracy
- Code quality
- Compliance with ES6+ standards
- Develop high-quality JavaScript solutions to technical problems across varying levels of difficulty
- Write human-readable explanations for code logic, implementation decisions, and problem-solving strategies
- Identify and flag edge cases in AI-generated:
- Web application code
- Backend JavaScript code
- Help improve the quality and reliability of AI-generated programming outputs
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of core JavaScript concepts, including:
async/await- Closures
- DOM manipulation
- 5+ years of experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks and ecosystems, such as:
- React
- Node.js
- Vue.js
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to code quality
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in written form
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following experience will stand out:
- Experience with:
- Data labeling
- RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback)
- Other AI training or model evaluation projects
