Job Details
- Position: Data Analyst
- Work Arrangement: Telecommute / Remote
- Employment Type: Contract
- Compensation: $25 – $35 per hour
- Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree
Core Responsibilities
The selected professional will contribute significantly to operational workflows, documentation management, and healthcare data validation initiatives. Daily responsibilities may include:
- Collaborating with Optum and State subject matter experts to gather, interpret, and document business requirements through comprehensive BRDs
- Conducting both internal and external walkthrough sessions for business requirement documentation while securing stakeholder approvals
- Developing, updating, and maintaining T-MSIS Source-to-Target mapping documentation
- Preparing and refining Detailed System Design documents (DSDs) to ensure technical precision and alignment
- Supporting Optum SMEs with the evaluation of test cases and interpretation of testing outcomes
- Executing MAR and T-MSIS operational cycles, including balancing procedures and validation activities
- Participating in strategic and operational meetings while recording notes, tracking discussions, and ensuring timely completion of assigned action items

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Strong documentation and analytical capabilities

- Capacity to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Professional confidence working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
