Job Overview
FloQast, a fast-scaling technology company, is on the lookout for driven professionals with a background in audit or accounting to join its Business Development Representative (BDR) team. What You’ll Be Doing
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, crafting outreach strategies that resonate with senior-level decision-makers
- Build strong, credible relationships with prospective clients by understanding their operational challenges and financial pain points
- Gain a deep understanding of common barriers within accounting workflows and position FloQast’s solutions effectively
- Create and refine targeted prospecting lists using multiple channels—online research, social media, referrals, and inbound leads
- Execute outbound communication campaigns through calls, emails, and social platforms with confidence and consistency
- Meet or exceed activity benchmarks, including meaningful conversations, qualified calls, and booked product demonstrations
- Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts and pipeline progress using Salesforce
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Executives, Marketing teams, and Sales leadership to drive results
What You Bring to the Table
- ACA qualification (or eligibility) or solid audit/accounting experience (required)
- A strong willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a new environment
- Openness to feedback and coaching, with a mindset geared toward continuous improvement
- A team-oriented attitude—you work well with others and contribute positively
- The ability to stay organized and effective in a fast-paced, target-driven setting
- Persistence and resilience, especially when working toward ambitious goals
- Clear, confident communication skills—both written and verbal
- A competitive, self-starting approach with a genuine drive to succeed
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with cold calling
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
