What You’ll Do
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance across a variety of crane systems, including overhead, gantry, and jib configurations
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using advanced diagnostic tools and technical documentation
- Perform load and functional testing to verify operational integrity and compliance with safety standards
- Identify worn or compromised components, recommending precise repair or replacement actions
- Engage directly with clients to understand operational challenges and deliver timely, effective service solutions
- Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and technical records
- Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ensure workspaces—whether on-site, in workshops, or within service vehicles—remain orderly and efficient
- Stay informed on emerging technologies, regulatory updates, and best practices within crane maintenance and repair
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanics, electrical systems, or a related discipline is advantageous
- Demonstrated experience in crane servicing or a closely related mechanical/electrical role (strongly preferred)
- Solid mechanical intuition paired with the ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Familiarity with crane safety standards and operational regulations
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
- Clear, professional communication skills for both client interaction and internal collaboration
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment
