English Audio Transcription Specialist Job – Remote/Contract

About the Job

As an English Audio Transcription Specialist, you will listen to audio recordings and convert spoken dialogue into clear, accurate written text. Your work will help train AI systems to better recognize different accents, speech patterns, tones, and conversational nuances.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

Listening carefully to English audio recordings and producing accurate verbatim transcriptions
Capturing natural speech patterns, pauses, filler words, and speaker transitions where required
Applying proper formatting, punctuation, spelling, and transcription guidelines consistently
Identifying unclear or inaudible audio sections for review
Working with multiple forms of audio content including interviews, discussions, lectures, podcasts, and customer conversations
Reviewing and proofreading completed transcriptions for quality and completeness
Managing tasks independently in a remote work environment
