Core Responsibilities

The selected candidate will oversee a wide spectrum of sales coordination and administrative support functions, including:

  • Ensuring all sales administration processes connected to product distribution and commercial operations are executed professionally and in alignment with company policies
  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the regional sales team, including schedule coordination, proposal preparation, pitch documentation, and sales activity reporting
  • Preparing and generating reports relating to revenue performance, customer sales trends, and operational activities
  • Organizing meetings and facilitating effective communication between field-based sales personnel and head office teams
  • Supporting the Area Sales Manager with assigned operational and administrative responsibilities
  • Coordinating communication surrounding customer-related matters to ensure seamless information flow across departments
  • Monitoring customer sales performance and delivering analytical insights for forecasting, accruals, rebates, trend evaluation, and internal business reporting
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date regional sales records and documentation
  • Ensuring customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints are handled promptly and appropriately to maintain strong client relationships

Educational Background & Professional Experience

Qualified candidates should demonstrate a strong combination of business acumen, sales administration expertise, and organizational capability.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration or a related discipline
  • Between 3–6 years of post-NYSC professional experience within sales administration or related commercial roles
  • Previous experience within the FMCG sector will provide a significant advantage
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales operations, market dynamics, customer relationship management, and industry trends
  • Good knowledge of DCP’s products and service offerings
  • Strong administrative competence with exceptional organizational attention and technology utilization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong analytical reasoning and practical problem-solving capacity
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
