Job Overview

The S&P Global Energy Commercial and Customer Experience Graduate Program offers ambitious graduates the chance to launch their careers at the center of the global energy and commodities industry. Although the journey begins with a rigorous five-week onboarding experience in London, this phase is strictly designed for orientation and immersive training. Once completed, participants will return to Abuja, where the main program is based.

Following onboarding, graduates will spend three months embedded within the EMEA Customer Success Team. During this period, participants will develop a strong understanding of commodity markets while sharpening core commercial and business skills. The role involves learning the ins and outs of S&P Global Energy’s research platforms, pricing intelligence, and analytical tools. As part of the Customer Success function, associates become trusted points of contact for clients—delivering timely solutions, conducting product training sessions virtually and onsite, and helping organizations maximize the value of S&P Global Energy products.

The program is intentionally rotational, exposing graduates to several business functions including Customer Success, Sales, Channel Management, and Marketing.   • Fluent in both French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Eligible to work in Nigeria or hold citizenship within an ECOWAS member state.
  • Confident presenter, comfortable engaging both small and large audiences virtually or in person.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies and modern digital capabilities.
  • Demonstrated interest in financial, commodity, or energy markets.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Able to multitask, work independently, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Eager to learn and willing to take ownership of diverse responsibilities.
