Job Overview

The Relationship Manager will spearhead offline merchant acquisition initiatives across various sectors—chain stores, restaurants, supermarkets, FMCG outlets, pharmacies, and betting shops while developing strategies to boost sales revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead merchant acquisition efforts across sectors such as supermarkets, pharmacies, filling stations, eateries, lounges, bars, and hotels within the assigned region.
  • Design and implement growth strategies to expand the Merchant Acquisition business and meet sales objectives.
  • Manage and motivate the regional Merchant Acquisition team to deliver consistent and profitable growth.
  • Track KPIs daily, weekly, and monthly to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Drive Key Account Managers (KAMs) to achieve team-specific KPIs.
  • Meet regional targets for transaction value, volume, and revenue.
  • Monitor market trends and provide timely competitor insights to the Merchant Acquisition Manager.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of FairMoney’s products and services, advising team members effectively.
  • Follow up with both active and inactive merchants, including facilitating the retrieval of POS terminals when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 6–8 years of experience in merchant-related business.
  • Own an Android smartphone.
  • Proven ability to manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Strong motivational skills and results-driven mindset.
  • Flexible, hardworking, and able to self-manage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-oriented with the ability to adapt to diverse personalities.
