Job Opening: Driver & Admin Assistant

MSI Nigeria is currently seeking a reliable and disciplined Driver/Admin Assistant to support field operations and ensure smooth logistics and administrative coordination.
This role is not just about driving—it combines mobility support with essential administrative responsibilities that keep operations running efficiently.
What the Role Involves
The Driver/Admin Assistant (DAA) will be responsible for the safe transport of staff and materials, while also supporting day-to-day administrative and logistics functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport staff and assigned personnel in a professional manner
- Ensure assigned vehicles are always clean, functional, and roadworthy
- Report any vehicle faults, damages, or issues to the appropriate units promptly
- Manage vehicle requests, fuel, maintenance, and repair processes through official channels
- Maintain accurate vehicle logs, including mileage, fuel usage, and travel times
- Keep proper custody of vehicle keys and ensure secure handling
- Collect weekly travel schedules and follow approved itineraries
- Return vehicles immediately after official use
- Record service delivery data using CLIC systems
- Support outreach activities, including cash handling, recording, and reconciliation where required
- Comply fully with MSI Nigeria Global Fleet policies
- Carry out additional administrative duties as assigned
Requirements & Experience
- Minimum qualification: OND or higher in any discipline
- At least 4 years of professional driving experience
- Valid and clean driver’s license
- Experience driving operational vehicles (e.g., Toyota Hilux) is an advantage
- Strong understanding of Nigerian road rules, signage, and terrain
- Ability to read and write fluently in English
- Basic computer literacy (data entry and simple applications required)
- Previous experience in an NGO or development organization is a plus
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Proficiency in local languages will be an added advantage
- Must demonstrate responsibility, discipline, and attention to detail
