Job Overview
This opportunity is crafted for a C++ engineer who thrives in performance-centric environments where milliseconds matter and system resilience is non-negotiable.
You will contribute to the architecture and development of core services that power intensive media workflows, including transcoding pipelines, video filtering mechanisms, and live-streaming infrastructures. These are not abstract systems; they operate under real-world load, processing vast volumes of media where efficiency and stability define success.
What You’ll Be Driving
- Architect and implement high-throughput, fault-resilient services using C++
- Optimize system performance across services to meet rigorous reliability and scalability expectations
- Engage across the full software lifecycle—from early design and architecture through testing and production support
- Develop structured error handling and detailed logging frameworks to enable real-time diagnostics and system transparency
Required Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely aligned discipline
- Minimum of three (3) years building high-performance software using C++
- Experience developing across operating environments such as Linux, Windows, or macOS
- Strong grasp of asynchronous programming paradigms, multithreading, and concurrency models
- Demonstrated ability to build fault-tolerant systems with robust error-handling strategies
- Comfort operating within agile, fast-evolving engineering environments
Preferred Edge
- Exposure to media and broadcast technologies such as HLS, Direct3D, Vulkan, Metal, or codec systems
- Familiarity with real-time streaming pipelines and transcoding workflows
- Proven history of deploying performant, well-tested systems in production settings
- A genuine enthusiasm for systems-level programming and performance optimization
Benefits & Perks
- Immediate access to medical, dental, and vision coverage from day one
- Fully company-funded life and disability insurance
- 401(k) plan with company matching up to 8%
- Health Savings Account (HSA) contributions and flexible spending options
