Job Overview
This DevOps & Cloud Engineer role is central to accelerating the company’s engineering capabilities. You will take ownership of the reliability, scalability, and deployment velocity of the Human-Led AI Orchestration Layer.
This isn’t just an infrastructure-focused position. You’ll also bring a strong awareness of backend systems—supporting APIs, optimizing deployments, and enabling seamless operational workflows. Your work will directly empower product teams to move faster, with less friction.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud & Infrastructure
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, AKS, Key Vault)
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and secure system architecture
- Continuously optimize cost, performance, and system reliability
CI/CD & Delivery
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Automate testing, deployment, and environment promotion processes
- Improve developer experience and accelerate release cycles across teams
Backend Enablement
- Support backend services (Python/FastAPI) with deployment, scaling, and runtime optimization
- Enhance API observability, logging, and performance
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers to remove bottlenecks and streamline delivery
Security & Operations
- Implement secure networking, identity controls, and secrets management
- Set up monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows
- Enforce best practices in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (AKS)
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
- Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
- Practical knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred, Bicep acceptable)
- Working familiarity with Python/FastAPI to support and troubleshoot backend services
- Experience with Docker and container-based deployments
- Solid understanding of cloud security and networking fundamentals
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with multi-tenant SaaS platforms
- Familiarity with serverless and event-driven architectures
- Experience supporting AI/ML workloads in production environments
- Exposure to observability tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
Work Structure & Benefits
This role offers a flexible work arrangement, typically ranging between 20–40 hours per week depending on workload and responsibilities. Performance is measured by outcomes rather than hours logged.
