As a Creative WebGL Developer, you will craft immersive, real-time digital experiences that do more than function—they mesmerize. Working at the frontier of interactive storytelling, your work will transform abstract creative visions into tactile, responsive environments that live within the browser.
Here, performance is as critical as aesthetics. Every animation, every shader, every frame must balance visual richness with technical efficiency.
What You’ll Create
- Build dynamic WebGL-driven experiences for high-profile campaign platforms
- Translate conceptual designs into refined, production-ready interactive builds
- Develop scroll-reactive and interaction-led storytelling systems that feel fluid and intentional
- Collaborate closely with designers, motion specialists, and creative technologists to unify vision and execution
- Optimize complex 3D scenes to perform seamlessly across desktop and mobile devices
- Integrate shaders, animation pipelines, and real-time rendering techniques
Technology Landscape
- Next.js (preferred) or Astro.js for performance-oriented builds
- Three.js and React Three Fiber for 3D rendering and interaction
- GSAP (with ScrollTrigger as a strong advantage)
- @react-three/drei utilities
- Blender workflows (GLB / glTF asset pipelines)
What You Bring
- Strong fluency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Proven experience working with WebGL or real-time 3D environments on the web
- Deep awareness of browser performance constraints and optimization techniques
- Ability to translate creative direction into technical execution without dilution
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, design-driven environments
Additional Edge
- Experience writing shaders or working with GLSL
- Background in motion design or animation principles
- A portfolio showcasing experimental, interactive, or visually ambitious work
- Prior experience within a creative agency or studio setting
